It all started with a problem no one was solving.
A few years ago, I was looking for a rugged tablet case that would really stand up to the rigors of off-road motorcycling: dust, vibrations, and the occasional bump. Everything I found was flimsy, incredibly expensive, or designed by someone who clearly had never been on a serious off-road ride. So I decided to roll up my sleeves and design something that truly satisfied me.
That first prototype worked so well that my fellow riders started asking me for some. Then their friends and acquaintances. Then strangers on forums. That's how Filamentopia was born — not from a business plan, but from a real need and a stubborn refusal to settle for "good enough."
What I do
I design and manufacture functional accessories for off-road and adventure riders — primarily cases, tablet mounts, and various other accessories requested by customers, built to survive the real-world conditions of trail and enduro riding. Every product goes through multiple design iterations and real-world testing before it appears in the store.
How I do it
Each piece is printed here, at home, using high-quality materials selected for their durability and weather resistance. I control the entire process: CAD design, slicing, printing, post-processing, and quality control. No mass production, no outsourcing — just one designer ensuring that each unit meets the standard I would want for my own gear.
Why Filamentopia
